Kiln dried wood is ‘cooked’ in a kiln for 2-3 days (depending on wood species). It is better than seasoned firewood which has greater moisture where mold can exist.
Kiln dried wood is below 13% moisture which burns cleaner and hotter which increases the heating out.

Most times, people are ordering because they don’t have burn ready firewood. But Kiln Dried has more to offer than just burn ready. It burns cleaner, hotter and mold/bug free. That’s because we control the moisture in the wood through the science of temperature.
You can order Fir or Arbutus, both are kiln dried.
